NEJM Frontiers in Medicine Series

The Frontiers in Medicine Series focuses on the ways in which new technologies intersect with and change the course of medicine. Topics include organoid research, next-generation sequencing, mobile devices in healthcare, stem-cell research, and machine learning, to name a few. There are several multimedia elements associated with articles published in this series, including Visual Glossary entries, article illustrations, a podcast, and an animation. As such, we work on these in small teams. We brainstorm ideas for approach and then divide the work. I’ve had the opportunity to work on several of these projects. Below are a few that I’ve been most closely involved with. Enjoy!
